After a long time i finally bought myself an InStyle again und found this mini-article about Gifts with Humanity. The onlineshop is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and sells various products from bracelets over coffee to silverware. Besides the products you well know from shops with fair trade articles you can also find some very chic things. The shop delivers worldwide and is worth a visit.

Things i like at the moment and/or buy soon.
1# Faust-Der Tragödie erster Teil von Flix
Last year Flix released 80 comic strips in the F.A.Z. (german newspaper). Now the comic is out as a little book and will end up in my book shelf for sure.

2# Holga CFN120 CMY
Why? Because i don´t have enough Lomo cameras yet and this super colourful thing reminds me on toy cameras of my childhood.

3# Stadtaffe von Peter Fox
It´s about time that this album becomes part of my music collection.

4# Mimobot C-3PO
I love Star Wars and my USB-Stick look boring. More reasons i don´t need to buy it.

Hm more i don´t know to write now. Have a great weekend! *Spongebob on TV in the background*
The designer Philippe Nigro was born in Nice 1975. He studied art in Lyon and finished a design masters degree at the Ecole Boulle in Paris. His design “Cofluences” for ligne roset is a worldwide success. The sofa consists of 9 flowing shapes and can be put together like a puzzle in different sitting variations. I´m thrilled by this design and its possibilities.

Sepiamusic is a danish/american music-duo consisting of Michael Adler Miltersen and Erin Chapman.

They formed in 1999 and released the first demo in 2000. The first track “Fall into me” was a hit at danish radio stations and several internet-playlists. This led to the decision to make an album. 2003 “Prototype” was finished and offers from major labels followed and a fight with those.

So they went back to their home-base Vesterbo in Copenhagen. They realised the hype around their band in which they got lost caused a huge distance between them and their music. They formed a live band and made some shows in little clubs. The sound of the live shows gave a new energy to their music. Rougher, edgier and in the end exactly what they wanted and what felt right, real and good to the duo. The next two years they were hidding in Michaels studio and worked on “Trenches”.

The album reflects what they´ve been through and is a very personal piece as they say. On the myspace page you can listen to some songs. I fell in love with the song “R.I.D.” immediatly. Just listen and visit their website.
Lois van Baarle just graduated from Artschool and has a lot of talent and ideas. She is an illustrator and produces little short animations. I follow her work on deviantART since a long time. I love the style of her illustrations because they are not so polished. You can see structures and the ways of the digital paintbrush. She also has a good eye for colour compositions.

In her animations her illlustrations come to life. From funny to just absolutely beautiful. For example this here is part of her final exams.
At the moment she works as a freelancer in the netherlands und builts up her own animation studio. I think we can expect much of this cute lady in the future. I´m really curious how here work will develop and will follow her the way. Why don´t you visit her portfolios and see her talent with your own eyes?
