A few days ago i´ve seen a report on TV about those crocheting boys from MyBoshi. Felix Rohland and Thomas Jaenisch came up with the idea to crochet hats while staying at a skiteacher exchange in Japan. Because of a spanish girl – a skiteacher collegue – who showed them how to crochet they started with it. At endless travels by train through Japan they made their technic perfect. In Tokyo tho australien boys approached them because of their fresh crochet beanies and bought them right from Felix and Thomas´head. What started as a joke developed to a good business. On their website you can put together your own hat and let it gets produced. It is produced n Germany from for example nice, old ladies who get some extra money to fill up their pension. You can get the beanies in several shapes and colours. With and without pom-pom. The material is also great and perfect for outdoor activities.

I´ve found a nice object from Moooi again. At the moment i´m searching for inspiration for the interior for my new apartment and there i´ve found this fascinating chair. I´m always interested to find out where the designer got his/her inspiration from and so i searched for informations. The designers Blasius Osko and Oliver Deichmann got inspired for their Clip Chair for Moooion a Bulgarian market. Whilst strolling around the market an small, foldable basket caught their eye. Fascinated by the mechanism they started to improve the shape and the technic. A foldable lounge chair the “Clip Chair” was born. This chair ist not just practical and comfortable it also works as a single piece like a sculpture in the room.

From the 8th to the 12th of February Moooi will be at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. The latest collection which was introduced last year in Milan will be presented. But also brand new yet not shown pieces from for example Arihiro Miyake will be presented at the fair. Who has the opportunity should visit the fair. In Stockholm at the fair you always get to see interesting things.

Because today is Monday i was a bit lazy and didn´t have much motivation to cook something. Monday is always a bit chaotic. But because i made a promise to myself on New Year´s Eve to eat healthier from now on i took my 10 minutes time to prepare my lunch. Potatoes, carrots, onions and celery were diced fast and the cucumber-cream was also made in very short time. The shrimps were cleaned and voilà everything´s finished. Ok just roasting and then finished. To photograph food is something i have to practise i think ;o). I diced the vegetable in a measurement that i was hungry for. You can also use lots of other vegetables and spices. Today everything was simple because it had to be done quick. Salt, pepper and chives. So now i need a coffee.
