Because now the last shelf is standing (thanks to little sis Sandra again) and all books found a place…well not all in the shelf. Simply too many. Ehm what did i want to say? Alas. Because now all my books are unpacked i stumbled over books which i wanted to read again in a long time or wanted to start to read. I get bored quite easy so i always read several books at the same time. At the moment i read “greek hero legends”, Kafka´s “The Trial” and “Nothing” from Janne Teller. What do you read these days?
Every morning i see it. The heart in the kitchen floor.

It is long ago that i´ve visited Lookbook so i thought i take a look again. Sometimes i´m a little bit bored if i see similar outfits and photographed in the almost same position all the time. That´s why especially this girlcaught my eye. Her styles are not legendary but she came up with an idea to make her photos look interesting. I like the Carrera car concept the most. If you post your styles you don´t have to overdo it and come up with a super cool concept. I like a good mix. One time a “normal” photo then something crazy again. The whole thing gets more interesting and it shows you have fun with fashion and you like to play with it. What do you think?
During the unpacking of my moving boxes i stumbled over things from my childhood. Because many things slumbered in boxes for a long time i didn´t expect this memento. I totally forgot the red shoes!! Now that i held them in my hands again a film in time lapse ran through my mind. I remembered the holiday with my parents in the netherlands, all those things on the market where we bought the shoes and the delicious food. Holidays with my parents were just awesome. We saw lots of art, architeture and old cars. But now back to the wooden shoes. The shoes were attached with a string and many bought such shoes just for decoration for the wall. But my parents bought me shoes that fit. Back home i wore them on the street while playing with the kids as you can see. I loved to wear darkblue jeans with them. Already at this time i loved the contrast of bright red shoes and darkblue jeans. None of the neighborhood kids laughed at me. At least i can´t remember they did. Unfortunately i grew out of the shoes quite fast otherwise they would look more damaged today i think. There is also a little stone from the streets in the eighties stuck in the sole!! Now the shoes stand decorative on my commode and always remind me of a good time when i walk by.
Since 2008 the label Kinga Matheis now on the market but never really caught my eye. Now i got the Lookbook for Fall/Winter-2011-2012 and fell in love with some looks immediately. The shapes are just awesome. Elegant and playful at the same time. The materials are looking luxurious and i bet they feel great on your skin. Kinga Mathe travels regularly to France and Italy to find beautiful and suitable fabrics.
Why i love fashion? Because i love humans. That´s why.
