Odoardo Fioravanti is one of those designers whose work excite over and over again. The chair Frida from 2008 for example i liked already. Clean lines but not boring at all. One of his latest works is the lamp Colibri for Foscarini. During the development process the designer got the impression that the design more and more looked like a friendly pet.

The projector reminds on the head of a colibri and can be moved in various directions. Even if you sit in your favourite armchair you can adjust the light via the long arm. The light is soft and directional – perfedt for reading. The lamp is available in bright white and in green. I also can imagine the lamp in complete black or a bright purple shade.
